Passion!

If only I had given more
If only I had tried
With all the heart and soul of me
With passion, held inside

What would I be?  How it would it feel?
To stand among the best
But, here I sit applauding those
With medals on their chest

Are winners born with more desire?
With more Intensity?
Or, Does that same potential live
Inside you and me?

Does God bestow on each of us
A gift, that we may find?
A life-fulfilling talent
To me, and all Mankind?

I pray that passion fills my soul
That deep, compelling drive
To find that love for what I do
To live...NOT JUST SURVIVE!
